The concept the designers used for this home was exposed with extrusions. The divider between the two floors i.e. the ceiling/floor is exposed on the exterior.
The designers and architects took a risk here, as this could very easily be interpreted as a ‘mishap’, however, they embodied the concept and created an interesting and unique exterior design and further used a neutral contrasting colour here to highlight this.
On the interior, characteristics like the various kitchen furniture depths and divided island geometries further contribute to the concept of varying exposed extrusions.
The designers used a Scandinavian inspired interior design style here, using neutral colour tones and minimalist elements to soften the varying exposed or broken up geometries, creating an interesting yet calming greeting to the eye.
